I am originally from a small town in northern Iowa before going to Carleton College in Northfield, MN to earn my BA in mathematics in 2010. I then moved to Gainesville, FL where I earned my PhD in mathematics in 2017 from the University of Florida under the direction of Jindrich Zapletal.
